FAQ

Answers to the questions we get most often — ordering, fitment, materials, installation, shipping, and returns. If you don't see your question here, contact us and we'll help directly.

Ordering & Customization

Are your products made to order?
Most of our interior and exterior parts — console covers, panel covers, canards, spoilers — are made to order after you purchase, not pulled from pre-made stock. A smaller number of items (phone mounts, small hardware, accessories) ship from stock. Each product page states whether it's made to order.

I made a mistake on my order (wrong transmission, wrong drive side, wrong trim) — can it still be fixed?
In most cases, yes — this is one of the most common things we help with, and it's usually a quick fix if you reach out before production starts. Contact us as soon as you notice, with your order number, and we'll update it. Once production has started, changes may no longer be possible.

Can I cancel or change my order after I place it?
Before production starts, yes — contact us as soon as possible. Once a made-to-order item enters production, it can't be canceled, since it's being cut and built specifically for your order. Standard stocked items can typically be canceled before they ship.

I'm not sure which version fits my car. What do I do?
Send us a photo of the area you're covering (console, bumper, steering wheel, etc.) before ordering. Many of our products have multiple versions for the same car — pre-facelift vs. facelift, LHD vs. RHD, automatic vs. manual — and the wrong selection means the part won't fit correctly.

Can I request a custom color, stitch, or embroidery that isn't listed?
On most made-to-order interior products, yes — select "Custom" where available and leave your exact request in the order notes at checkout. Custom requests may carry a small surcharge and are noted on the product page where applicable.

Can you match the stitch or material color to my exact factory interior?
We'll always try, but we can't guarantee an exact match in every case — some factory interior colors aren't available to us as raw materials in our market. If color matching matters to you, send us a clear, well-lit photo of your interior before ordering and we'll tell you honestly how close a match we can get, rather than promise something we can't deliver.

Can I combine multiple products into one order to save on shipping?
Often, yes — contact us before or shortly after ordering and we can look at combining items into a single shipment. Note that some items ship separately by default (different production timelines or packaging needs), so combining isn't always possible, but we'll always tell you plainly if it isn't rather than leave it unclear.

Do you offer Buy Now, Pay Later?
Yes — Klarna is available at checkout for eligible orders.

Fitment & Compatibility

Why do some products have so many variants?
Because fitment on modern cars genuinely differs by generation, trim, and drivetrain — a pre-facelift and facelift console, or a GTI and R bumper, are often shaped differently even on the "same" car. We'd rather give you the exact variant than sell one "universal" shape that doesn't sit right on half the cars it claims to fit.

Does this fit right-hand drive (RHD) cars?
Depends on the product — check the specific listing. Many of our interior covers and mounts are available in both LHD and RHD versions; some exterior parts (spoilers, canards) are symmetrical and fit either. A few products are currently LHD only, and this is stated clearly on those product pages.

A product I want is LHD only right now — will an RHD version ever be made?
Often yes, eventually — RHD development is genuinely more involved (different tooling, separate test fitting), so it typically follows after a product's LHD version is established. We don't always have a confirmed date, but demand does influence what we prioritize next. If you want a specific product in RHD, tell us — it helps us gauge real interest, and we'll follow up if and when it becomes available.

My car has a package/option (wireless charging, cargo net, sunroof, etc.) — will this still fit?
In most cases yes, since we design around the console or panel shape itself, not individual factory options. If a specific option is known to cause interference, it's called out directly on that product's page or FAQ. If you're not sure, ask us before ordering rather than guessing.

Does this fit the next model year or facelift version?
Not automatically. Chassis codes and facelift years matter — an MK8 and MK8.5, or an 8Y and 8Y5, can have different console or bumper geometry even though they're the "same" car to most buyers. Always check the fitment section on the product page, and ask if you're unsure which version your car is.

Does your product have TÜV certification or other local homologation approval?
Not currently — we don't hold formal TÜV (Germany) or equivalent certification/documentation for our products at this time. Some customers in countries with strict modification registration requirements have had their own installer or inspector assess the part directly. If local certification is a requirement where you live, please confirm with your own authority or installer before ordering, since this is outside what we can provide.

Materials

Is the carbon fiber real?
Where we say "real carbon fiber," it's genuine woven carbon, not a printed vinyl or film made to look like it. Where we use a carbon-look textile (like matte carbon twill fabric), we say so explicitly and it's never priced or marketed as real carbon.

What's the difference between Leather and Alcantara®?
Leather is structured and closer to factory-plus — a safe, durable choice that matches what most manufacturers already use on seats and dash trim. Alcantara® is a soft-touch microfiber, lower glare, and generally better at resisting fingerprints — the same material many manufacturers reserve for their own performance-badged interiors.

What is slush-molded ABS?
A manufacturing process that forms a soft-touch, textured skin over a plastic panel — the same process most OEMs use for factory dash and trim surfaces. It reads as a factory-grain finish rather than smooth injection-molded plastic.

Will the material scratch or peel over time?
Leather, Alcantara®, and real carbon fiber are all significantly more resistant to fingerprints, dust marks, and fine scratching than the glossy factory piano black plastic they typically replace. None of our interior cover materials are prone to the kind of early scratching that affects factory piano black trim.

Installation

Is installation permanent?
No. Our interior covers and most exterior overlays use pre-applied adhesive and sit directly over the factory surface — nothing is cut, drilled, or permanently altered. Most are fully reversible; gently heating the material loosens the adhesive if you ever want to remove it.

Do I need professional installation?
Most products are designed for straightforward DIY installation — typically 5–20 minutes depending on the part. A few products (wiring-based upgrades like steering wheel controls) are more involved and we recommend professional installation or careful review of the install guide first.

Will installation affect warning lights, sensors, or factory electronics?
Our adhesive-based covers don't touch wiring or sensors, so they don't affect warning lights. Products that do involve wiring (certain steering wheel or seat-related upgrades) include specific guidance on avoiding sensor-related warning lights in their own product FAQ — check the specific listing before installing.

Where can I find an installation guide?
Most products link directly to a written and/or video installation guide from the product page. If you can't find one, contact us and we'll point you to it or walk you through it.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does it take to receive my order?
Two separate clocks: production and shipping, and they add together.

Production is the part we control directly — typically 7–10 business days for standard made-to-order builds. More complex or oversized items can take longer; check the specific product page.

Shipping (transit) happens after production and is handled by international carriers and customs — which is genuinely outside our control once a package leaves our hands. That's why our Shipping Policy quotes a wider window (7–30 business days total) rather than a single tight number: a tight promise sounds nice, but we'd rather be upfront that customs clearance, destination country, and carrier delays can add real time, instead of setting an expectation we can't guarantee. Most orders arrive well within that window — the range exists to cover the exceptions honestly, not because delivery is normally slow.

Do you offer different shipping speeds?
Yes, on oversized or international-heavy items we typically offer both air freight (faster, higher cost) and sea freight (slower, lower cost) — both options and their estimated timelines are shown at checkout or on the product page for items where this applies.

Does the shipping price include duties and taxes?
Where stated on a specific product page, yes — some of our shipping options are quoted duty-inclusive so there's no surprise charge on delivery. If a product page doesn't mention this, duties may be assessed separately by your country's customs on arrival. Check the listing or ask before ordering internationally.

My shipping quote looks higher than expected — what do I do?
Shipping costs can vary by destination, so the figures shown on a product page are typical, not guaranteed for every address. If your checkout total looks off, contact us before completing the order and we'll confirm it's correct.

My package shows no movement for a while, or seems stuck in transit — what happens?
International shipments can occasionally sit at a customs checkpoint or sorting facility longer than expected with no visible tracking update — this doesn't necessarily mean anything has gone wrong. Contact us with your order number and tracking number, and we'll follow up with our carrier or freight forwarder directly to get you a real answer rather than leave you guessing.

I'm ordering from South Korea — is there anything extra I need to provide?
Yes — Korean customs requires a Personal Customs Clearance Code (개인통관고유부호) and your name in Korean to clear your package. We'll reach out after you order if this is needed; replying promptly helps avoid delays at customs.

Returns, Cancellations & Issues

Can I return a made-to-order item?
Because these are built specifically for your order, made-to-order items generally aren't returnable once production has started, barring a defect or error on our part. Standard stocked items follow normal return terms — check our Refund Policy for full details.

My part doesn't fit / arrived damaged / seems wrong — what do I do?
Contact us with photos as soon as you notice the issue. We'll work through it directly — whether that's confirming correct installation, arranging a replacement, or addressing a production error.

I'm having trouble during installation and it's not going smoothly. What should I do?
Don't force it. Stop, send us photos of exactly where you're stuck, and we'll help you work through it. Most installation issues come from a specific, fixable step — not a defective part.

Other

Do you sell to international customers?
Yes — we ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to your country's import duties and taxes unless the product page states shipping is duty-inclusive.

Do you offer products for cars not currently listed on your site?
We're always expanding. If you don't see your car, contact us — we track demand for new platforms and it helps us prioritize what to build next.

How do I contact you?
Via our Contact Us page, or reach out directly through any of the channels listed there. We read and respond to messages ourselves.
