MINI R55–R60 Bluetooth & USB Retrofit

Modernising an R-Series MINI Without Touching the Head Unit

The MINI Cooper R-Series cabin holds up well for its age — but the AUX-only audio setup and lack of USB charging are the two most immediately dated aspects of daily ownership. This plug-and-play retrofit module addresses both without any wiring modifications, coding, or dashboard surgery.

Currently out of stock. We're not restocking this product. For MINI R-Series cabin upgrades, see our Dashboard Phone Mount and Air Vent Cup Holder.

What It Did

The Bluetooth & USB Retrofit Module added Bluetooth 5.0 wireless audio streaming and dual USB charging ports to AUX-only MINI R-Series models. It plugged into the factory dash trim recess — no cut wires, no visible aftermarket hardware — and paired automatically on every subsequent start after the first connection.

Compatibility (Historical)

Was compatible with MINI Cooper R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60 — AUX-only and AUX+USB dashboard variants, 2004–2014.
