Note for DSG (automatic) owners: Some automatic Golf owners intentionally select the Manual coverage option instead of the AT version, specifically to leave the factory silver shifter trim exposed as a style choice. About the matte carbon twill fabric: This is a matte carbon-look twill weave fabric, not real carbon fiber. It gives a textured, matte black finish inspired by carbon weave, paired with your choice of leather or Alcantara as the base material — not a woven carbon composite panel.

Stitching & Embroidery

Choose red, blue, or blue/white stitching, then select your embroidery separately: GTI Logo, R Logo, custom text, or none. Embroidery and stitch color are independent choices — pick the stitch color you want, then the logo or text you want, with no automatic pairing between them.

Installation is a direct overlay process using pre-applied automotive-grade adhesive. No drilling, cutting, or permanent modification is required.

Is this a vinyl wrap?
No. This is a shaped console overlay, not vinyl film.

Will it permanently modify my console?
No drilling or cutting is required. It installs using pre-applied adhesive.

Can I remove it?
Yes — gently heating the cover will do the job. Even if there's some adhesive residue left behind, it should be minimal. We've tested this on a daily-driven car, and the console underneath stayed in good condition after two years.

What's the difference between Standard and Full Coverage?
Standard covers the outer frame around the shifter. Full Coverage covers the entire panel, both the outer frame and the inner surface.

I have an automatic (DSG) — can I still pick the Manual version?
Yes. Some DSG owners choose the Manual coverage option specifically to leave more of the factory silver trim exposed as a style preference. Pick based on the look you want.

Is the carbon twill option real carbon fiber?
No — the matte carbon twill fabric is a carbon-look twill weave textile, not a real carbon fiber composite. It's paired with a leather or Alcantara base, giving a textured matte black finish without the weight, rigidity, or cost of real carbon fiber panels.

Can I choose custom embroidery?
Yes. Custom text and stitch color options are available regardless of your selected material.

Does my stitch color have to match my embroidery logo?
No — stitch color and embroidery are selected independently, so you can mix any stitch color with any logo or text option.

How long does production take?
