One mounting platform. Multiple ways to use it. Every setup uses the same one-piece mount, with the holder you choose added to it:
Standard attaches the holder directly to the mount. It suits most Golf MK8 setups.
With Extended Arm adds an arm between the mount and your holder, moving the holder away from the screen so nothing gets in the way.
Golf MK8.5: we strongly recommend the Extended Arm. The MK8.5 screen is larger, and a directly attached holder can interact with the screen when your phone is held vertically.
Golf MK8: choose the Extended Arm if your phone is larger than a standard iPhone or iPhone Pro (6.7 in and up, such as Plus and Pro Max models), so the holder doesn't block the screen.
The arm rotates a full 360° and its length is adjustable, so you can place your phone in the spot that suits your seating position and your driving. Select With Extended Arm (large phones & MK8.5) under Mount Style when ordering. It's $10 more than Standard and works with every setup above.
The mount uses a standard 17mm ball interface, allowing compatibility with many aftermarket phone holders and charging solutions.

Standard or With Extended Arm, which should I choose?Standard attaches the holder directly to the mount and suits most MK8 setups. MK8.5 owners and anyone with a phone of 6.7 in or larger should choose the Extended Arm.
Can the Extended Arm be adjusted? Does it stay in place?Yes. It rotates 360° and the length is adjustable. Because it adjusts so freely, the joint can loosen after a lot of road vibration. If that happens, just tighten it again and it will hold.
Can I use the Extended Arm with the Standalone Mount?Yes. The arm connects whichever holder you use to the mount, including your own 17mm-ball holder.
Does it block airflow?No. The mounting position keeps normal vent operation and airflow intact.
Can I use my own phone holder?Yes. Any holder using a standard 17mm ball mount can be used.
Does it support wireless charging?Yes, when paired with the Apple OEM MagSafe charger holder versions.
